THREE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS

Well, I think I have it right now. (not 12 days) ...Just want to wish you all a fun filled weekend leading up to the big day that Santa visits. Can't wait to see pictures of you all on both blogsites of opening presents, the excitement, etc. Wish I could be with you all on Christmas Day, but like I said before, I will be with you all in my heart....
Hopefully we will get some snow here so that Christian can try out his new snowboard. Maybe you could take him to the ski hill Teresa. When you and Frank were younger, the ski resorts let the kids play on the smaller sledding hills for free.
Wish I could send snow down to the Cayman's, but I don't think that will happen.... Sorry...
Well, you all have fun and I look forward to seeing all the pictures of my wonderful family whom I love so very much and am so proud of.... Have a great weekend...
Love,
Mom

TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

Only 12 more days until Christmas... Hope that you are all ready. The party went well on Saturday. You were missed Frank and Christen, but everyone was thinking of you. Envious of you two being down there in that warm, sunny tropical island.
Grandma didn't make it. Wasn't feeling well. She is almost 80 (next year) so that is normal. She is still doing well though.
The weather here has been good. The past week it has been in the 40's and 50's, with no snow. No quite the weather the Cayman Islands have, but better than in the teens.
Want to thank you all for the nice presents Frank, Christen, Ryan, Teresa and Christian. Loved them all......You always pick out such neat presents.....Rick said I had to smoke the cigar first... ha!ha!
Christian was really cute opening his presents. I put everything in a big red bag and I got a picture of him practically inside it completely getting his presents out, with just his little behind sticking out. Like always, he looks at each present and checks it out before he opened the next one. Before he opened them, he said to Ryan and Teresa to open theirs first and then he would open his. How cute.... He picked me out a ring from his school store. Really cute.
Wish I were able to post pictures on here. Luckily we have Teresa to do that. I need to get the high speed internet. Amazing how quick the computers get outdated.
Went out to dinner last night with Rick's cousin and his girlfriend. She is from Germany. Quite the accent, but really nice. Went up to the Blind Fish for crab. Were quite small this time, not like when we went there Frank and Christen.
This Friday is Rick's company party. Should be fun. Just so much to do this week.
Well, you all have a great week. Relax and enjoy the Holiday season. Wish I could be with you all on Christmas Day, but know that even though we are apart, we will be together in our hearts. (Hmm, that rhymes.)
Love ya all,
Mom

Hi Frank and Christen,
Today Ryan, Teresa, Christian and I went up to Sutton's Bay to see Santa's reindeer. Then we did a little bit of shopping there and visited the Fudge Shop. The weather was really nice today. Probably about 40 degrees out and sunny. Had a lot of fun.

Traverse City Northstars

Christian had a great time at the hockey game. He ran in to a lot of his friends from school so he played with them and they got to hang out with the mascot. Everytime the music came on they would play thier air guitars.

WINTER HAS ARRIVED

Hi,
Well it looks like winter has arrived here in Michigan. Went from 67 and sunny this week to cold, raining, ice and snow.... Tried to get Rick to put up the Christmas lights while it was warm out...... Oh, well.... It has been raining since we got up this morning and we are suppose to get alot of snow tonight here. Don't know what they are suppose to get up in Traverse City.
Not much going on here. Santa is just busy Christmas shopping!!!
Hunting season is over and this is the 2nd year that we haven't gotten a deer. Mark got 2 bucks. One on opening morning of bow season and the other on opening morning of gun season. We will miss the venison sticks....
Teresa e-mailed me this morning. She was the 3rd caller for a contest at the radio station to win 4 tickets to the the minor league hockey game at the civic center tomorrow night. Way to go Teresa!!!! Have fun getting your tree tomorrow too. Maybe you should buy a lotto ticket today since your having a lucky day.
Saw Bev and Dave the other day. He is getting around good since his minor heart attack and the motorcycle accident. Bev's nose has been bothering her so she went to a specialists and come to find out she had also fractured her nose in that accident. She is doing good though. They both are lucky. Could have been worse. Dave said he is going to drive his dune buggy in it next year. ha!ha!
Jaci and John went out to Arizona for Thanksgiving. Also went to Las Vegas. Last I had heard, she was breaking even. Said they were all having a great time. Talked to JJ and he said that he loves the warm weather.
I wish you all a wonderful day and weekend........
I love you all so very much,
Mom
